Kevin is the original founder of Latitude Outdoors and was inspired to start the company after his experiences hunting the nasty swamps in northern Michigan. Tree stands were inefficient, so Kevin started testing the saddles currently on the market. He realized there was significant room for improvement and began designing The Method Saddle.
Kevin lives in Grand Rapids, MI, where he grew up and attended Catholic Central High School. Kevin then attended the The University of Michigan where he received his Mechanical Engineering degree and played linebacker for the Wolverines. He went on to the University of Notre Dame to complete his education in their Engineering and Entrepreneurship M.S. Program (ESTEEM).

Jake is an engineer by trade and has always been gifted in product development as a hobby. When Kevin was ready to start Latitude Outdoors, his first thought was to enlist Jake's talents in a more formal manner. Jake is now responsible for turning Latitude Outdoors' concepts into commercially viable products. His experience in manufacturing also allows him to optimize our manufacturing processes.
Jake currently lives in Royal Oak, MI. He grew up in Grand Rapids, MI where he attended Forest Hills Central High School. Jake then attended the The University of Michigan where he received his B.A. in Philosophy and was a kicker for the Wolverines.
Business Development, M.S. University of Notre Dame '14, B.S. University of Michigan '13
Alex was brought onto the team to manage business development and is responsible for all upstream and downstream marketing. He is an obsessive bow hunter and has been hunting Michigan public land for the past fifteen years. Alex grew up learning from his dad, who solely hunted Michigan public land in the upper peninsula where his family originated.
Alex currently lives in Royal Oak, MI, and grew up in Grand Rapids, MI where he attended Forest Hills Central High School. He attended the University of Michigan for his B.S. in Biochemistry, and then went on to complete his M.S. in Engineering and Entrepreneurship at the University of Notre Dame.
