The Operator Pouch

The next evolution in saddle pouch design.

Traditional cinch and zippered pouches fall short in two key areas:

  • They’re hard to operate with one hand.
  • They collapse on themselves, making gear retrieval frustrating.

The Operator solves both problems with a purpose-built design:

  • Single-Handed Access: Inspired by bino harnesses, the silent flap-style closure gives you smooth, one-handed operation—no zippers, no cord locks.
  • Structured Build: Maintains its shape for easy access to ropes, lineman belts, and other essentials—even in the heat of the moment.

Built with an ultra-quiet fleece lining and zero-noise construction, the Operator also features:

  • External accessory pockets for quick-grab items
  • Integrated D-loop for bow rope connection
  • Quick-detach saddle mounting system, making it easy to reposition or remove when needed

Engineered for the mobile whitetail hunter.

This is the Operator.

Love this thing

Easy to get in and out of. I got the regular size and can fit my lineman’s rope, gear strap, and back band no problem. Fits close to the hip too so it doesn’t get hung up walking in.

Worth the investment to upgrade the Method dump pouches

Being my first year saddle hunting, I am still learning what I need. I purchased two Method dump pouches and after several 1 mile+ walk-ins & outs, I needed something smaller. I purchased two of the regular Operator pouches and these are such an improvement over the Methods. I have my Latitude gear strap with the Bow Bite hanger and clips and the 8m Vapor Line tether, with carabiner and Kong Duck, in the inside and an Amsteel Guy bow pullup rope in the outside of the right pouch; the 8 mm Vapor Lineman, one "squirrel" step inside and a backband in the outside of the left pouch. The top is easy to unclip and open, and it stays open until closed. When closed, it stays closed just enough to not let anything fall out, similar to the lid on a bino harness. Once I'm set on my platform, I'm able to clip everything closed and remove the pouch if needed. Walking in with the shorter and tighter fighting pouches was nice. I do agree with another review that the clips are a bit bulky and I do not intend to unclip the pouches right now, so having a thinner attachment method would make them fit tighter to the saddle. The outside pockets do help keep the smaller stuff close at hand; extra carabiners, S-clips, smaller snack bars, etc. Definitely worth the investment to upgrade over the method dump pouches.

Awesome Pouch

I was actually wanting another dump pouch but they were sold out. I opted to purchase this operator pouch instead. I’m really pleased with the size. I bought the regular size. I use it for my gear straps, hoists and other quick grab items. I really like the disconnect buckles for added versatility. I’m curious to see how much larger the XL pouch is. Keep the great products coming Lattitude!
