Our single step aiders are constructed of Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) rope, are metal free, have a 2500lb breaking strength, make zero noise and weigh only 1oz.
They are specifically designed to work with our Carbon SS Climbing sticks using a simple and silent attachment cinch, enabling you to effectively double the height you can achieve with each climbing stick.

I bought the single step aider to allow me to position my first stick a little higher than normal. I love this aider. It is easy to attach to my sticks and holds my weight really well. I’m looking to buy a few more for all my sticks. It’s a saddle hunt must have.
So far into the season I’ve used these a few times. They certainly hold all my weight, attach easily to the sticks, and can also easily be stored by wrapping them above and cinching into the part usually used for the amsteel rope. Only issue so far is it has been difficult to get my boot into or onto this aider style at times since it hangs so close to the tree, so might end up adding something to make it more usable for me, but it’s a great base aider to work with so still would give it 5 stars.
